Welcome to The Academy for Musical Theatre

Now in our 25th year.

All Academy workshops are staffed by theatre professionals. The workshops are equally suited for both beginners, and those who wish to further their craft and who may wish to pursue theatre as a future career.

Each workshop includes the following:

1. training in triple threat skills provided by professionals in their art (dance, voice, acting)
2. training in various technical aspects of musical theatre (sound/microphone use, lighting, props, costuming, make-up)
3. script
4. costumes – provided by our own costumer
5. a chance to perform in a professionally staged production, with high quality sound and light engineering

Each workshop participant will be cast in a feature role, and have the opportunity to be in the spotlight.
