There’s no place like home!

Imagine finding yourself in a magical world with “lions and tigers and bears” (Oh my!), not to mention an evil witch, a powerful and frightening wizard, and where nothing is as it seems.

Join Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz, determined to reach the Emerald City, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course, along the way, Dorothy encounters witches, Munchkins, talking trees and winged monkeys. But most importantly, she befriends three unique characters: a Scarecrow with no brain, a Tin Man with no heart, and a Lion with no “nerve.” Their journey to happiness – and self-awareness – is a glowing testament to friendship, understanding and hope in a world filled with both beauty and ugliness.

Sing and dance to your favourite songs, including “Over the Rainbow,” “Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead),” “If I Only Had a Brain/a Heart/the Nerve,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard (Follow the Yellow Brick Road),” “Jitterbug,” and “The Merry Old Land of Oz,” among many others!  With gorgeous costumes, incredible sets and lighting effects, and a touch of Academy magic, this will be our best show ever!

The Wizard of Oz, like Alice and Wonderland, changes over time to reflect different meanings, but at heart, it’s saying ‘don’t bother looking to others to solve your problems, solve them yourselves’. It could be saying that there’s every reason to think for yourself and question authority, but it could equally be saying the opposite; The Wizard of Oz can mean anything to anyone, and often does. If nothing else, it can mean just-about something to just-about everyone.
