Arts Leader in Training (ALIT) Program: Summer 2024

The ALIT Program

In recent years, The Academy has formalized its volunteering positions into the “Arts Leader in Training (ALIT) Program”. For each workshop, there will be a specified number of ALIT position available, and those in training will be mentored by one or more of our expert Academy staff members. ALITs will have a chance to name a speciality field that they are most interested in; including singing, acting, dance, and costuming. ALIT trainees will participate fully as a member of The Academy staff, working as a trusted and respected member of our team.

We are looking for positive, energetic, motivated people who have a passion for both musical theatre and working with children! Benefits of Being an ALIT

leadership skills, as well as the opportunity to build skills in their chosen specialty. Each ALIT will receive a letter of reference from The Academy Director, Heidi

ALITs can also use their time as an Academy team member to contribute to their 40 hours of volunteering required for secondary school graduation.

ALITs who shine in their energy, talent, and ability to connect with our students may be offered a future employment position at The Academy, and become a staff mentor to our next generation of ALITs.
